5baam (formerly 4baam) today announced that it has launched Auto Repair - the latest app designed for kids, which will allow them to feel like a small car mechanic.
Auto Repair allows the child to repair the engine in the sports car Tony, fix the body of the beautiful girl's cabriolet Flosi, look underneath and repair the chassis of the desert off-roader Gurun, and repair the interior of the rapping pickup Lagu. While fixing the defects players learn about cars and gain photos that are pinned on a large cork board. Tasks have been prepared in such a way that children at varying development stages can find something for themselves. Some tasks are simple, others more advanced and yet others creative. Many of them have more than one possible successful outcome, making the game interesting even when the child performs the same task several times in a row.
Auto Repair tasks are equipped with elements that allow the child to go out of the box thinking and see "what happens if ...". These are the features that do not directly assist in completing the task but allow for experiments, and show that e.g. the hole cannot be patched with a bottle cork, a fan that spins too fast can fall apart, or what happens when the child try to clean the windscreen with vanilla ice cream, a banana or the like.
5baam team have also included a few funny surprises such as the “MOO mode" in one of the tasks, the dragon devouring a hot chili pizza, or the remote control for a car that sneezes.
As in previous application, 5baam put great emphasis on the quality of graphic design as well as sound effects and an original music.
Auto Repair is available now on the App Store, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/apple-store/id505809191?mt=8, at the initial launch price of $0.99. - Free Lite version is also available. -
