“We want the world to experience a piece of what we’re lucky enough to live each day here in Montana,” says Parker’s Hangover Tonic Co-Owner and Montana Native Andy Parker. “That’s why Parker’s Hangover Tonic and Trailhead Spirits teamed up to create this video. We truly hope it goes viral and gives people one more reason to visit our beautiful state.” The video is titled "North to the Tasting Room for a Made in Montana Bloody Mary Bar" and can be found here: https://theaudienceawards.com/film/north-to-the-tasting-roomfor-a-made-in-montana-bloody-mary-bar30966.
The Montana Department of Tourism is hosting the Real Montana Film Competition, which calls on all film producers (amateur and professional) to enter one minute videos highlighting five different categories: Montana Places, Food & Beverage, Wildlife and Scenery, Outdoor Adventure and Artists, Culture and Events. The call for entry deadline is April 6th and voting begins April 7th, 2015. Videos are hosted on The Audience Awards, a Missoula, Montana-based website hosting site. Films with the most votes from the audience win a total of $40,000 in prize money and a chance to have their films shared worldwide by the Montana Department of Tourism. The Montana Department of Tourism plans to showcase the films from the competition in online advertising campaigns, which are designed to attract tourists.
Trailhead Spirits is an award-winning craft distillery in Billings, Montana that distills its Great North Vodka from wheat grown in Highwood, Montana and pure Montana water from the Yellowstone River. Parker’s Hangover Tonic is a Made in Montana Bloody Mary/Caesar concentrate drink mix that has become inceasingly popular in the bar industry as well as in the home as it only takes a few seconds to mix a consistent Caesar/Bloody Mary. One shot of Parker’s Hangover Tonic + 1 Shot of Great North Vodka + Tomato Juice/Clamato = Made in Montana Bloody Mary/Caesar.
“Our bartenders love Parker’s Hangover Tonic because it is fast and consistent. I love it because I love supporting local and featuring Montana products in the tasting room. In fact, this winning combination is a draw to Trailhead Spirit’s tasting room each Saturday for our Made in Montana Bloody Mary bar,” says Trailhead Spirits Co-Owner and Montana Native Casey McGowen. “People come to build their own Bloody Mary with all the fixings, like bacon, olives and asparagus, and they leave having built real Montana friendships.”
