Sitarian™ Corporation and A3E LLC announce that 2015 Summer NAMM will feature “The Future of Audio,” a program presented in collaboration with A3E (the Advanced Audio + Applications Exchange), to add more pro audio education opportunities to the show. “The Future of Audio” is designed to provide the Summer NAMM audience of music and audio professionals with sessions on topics and trends shaping the future of music and music technology products. The program, held Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Nashville, will make up day three of TEC Tracks—a new pro audio education program at Summer NAMM.

The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), is the global music products industry’s not-for-profit association. NAMM strengthens the music products industry and widely promotes the pleasures and benefits of making music through the NAMM Foundation. The association’s leading trade events including the NAMM Show and Summer NAMM gather the global music product industry to discover new products and trends, network with partners from around the world, attend educational sessions and enjoy live music.

The Advanced Audio + Applications Exchange™ (A3E™), coming off of its inaugural event in September 2014, is a trade show, conference and social network exchange dedicated for Audio Developers, Musicians + Audio Pros, and Technology + Music Manufacturers, and one which is completely focused on the development and exploration of new technologies that are transforming the music industry and the creative processes of musicians and audio professionals.

“A3E is very proud to be presenting this new program, “The Future of Audio,” at the upcoming Summer NAMM event in Nashville, TN,” states Paul Sitar, A3E Show Director. Sitar also adds “NAMM as an association and trade show, is a leading global resource for the music industry, and having A3E’s unique, dedicated focus on the future of advanced audio as part of their overall event program, only furthers their mission of industry education. We are incredibly excited to be working along side the NAMM association and team.”

A3E Conference Chair, Doug DeAngelis offers, “A3E will bring a new educational facet to Summer NAMM focused on the hi-tech trends that are reshaping music production and live performance at all levels of the industry. I believe it is a critical time for the NAMM community to gain foresight on what the industry will look and sound like in the years ahead as the power of mobile technology, cloud capability, algorithmic intelligence, and DSP technology continue to progress at exponential rates. There is no question that musicians and audio professionals are incorporating these technologies into their workflow, so this is a great time to explore the future of audio.”

“The new TEC Tracks offerings add even more value to Summer NAMM's robust educational programming,” said Joe Lamond, NAMM president and CEO. “The industry relies on Summer NAMM to stay ahead of the ideas and trends that will move the market in the second half of the year and beyond. Working with experts from various specialties, including A3E, Summer NAMM will offer TEC Tracks sessions that no pro audio professional can afford to miss.”

More information will be announced soon, and complete details on “Future of Audio at Summer NAMM, in partnership with A3E, the Advanced Audio + Applications Exchange” can be found at the NAMM ( and A3E (
