Cowberry's Argosy 8000i Soft Serve Machine

Argosy's machines are by far the most user-friendly soft serve machines on the market.

Cowberry Frozen Treats and Cowberry Frozen Yogurt, a frozen dessert franchise specifically designed for convenience stores and expanding quick service restaurants, recently selected Argosy Foodservice as their exclusive soft serve machine partner. This frozen dessert concept, founded by former convenience store owners and operators, offers foodservice operators the opportunity to maximize square footage available with one simple solution: a franchised “Cash Cow” frozen dessert kiosk. These kiosk models provide everything that a stand-alone frozen yogurt or ice cream store offers, only with a smaller footprint and investment, making it a perfect soft serve solution.

“We have been in the c-store industry for over 28 years, and initially we wanted to create a frozen yogurt concept that would be simple and attractive for c-store operators,” commented Bill Hohn, one of the founders of Cowberry Frozen Treats, “We also understand the importance of easy to use and easy to operate equipment, especially in the c-store space. Argosy’s machines are by far the most user-friendly soft serve machines on the market, which is why we chose to partner with Argosy for the Cowberry kiosks.”

Each kiosk comes with soft serve machines (capable of offering ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, Italian ice, and frozen custard), a toppings case and display, and effective branding to attract consumers to stop and grab a cup. Cowberry offers ten kiosk designs to fit any c-store or QSR layout, or build the machines in to the wall for new builds or remodels.

Argosy rolled out their new 8000i series soft serve machines at the National Restaurant Association Show in May 2014 in Chicago, IL and has received praises in the industry for the design. “We wanted to create a machine that provided true innovation in the soft serve space,” said Raphael Doromal, chief executive officer at Argosy Foodservice. “Over the past twenty years, not much has changed in the soft serve space and we wanted to change the landscape by focusing on operator usability and increasing the machine’s overall production capacity, while decreasing the machine’s footprint and the amount of energy our machine uses. We are proud to say that Cowberry thinks the same way we do and we look forward to a prospering relationship.”
