The Holiday Inn Westbury - Long Island has purchased a brand new shuttle bus in order to provide guests with local courtesy shuttle service. The new amenity and service is designed to provide added value to the corporate traveler visiting a nearby corporate office throughout their stay; however, the hotel will also utilize for special groups and functions.

The new shuttle is another amenity and service we want to offer our guests. It has been something that many guests and potential guests have inquired about in the past, so we decided it was time to provide a desired service...

The Holiday Inn Westbury - Long Island has purchased a brand new 14 passenger shuttle bus. The new shuttle is a Ford/StarCraft. It is fully wrapped with the well known Holiday Inn colors and logo. It is fully equipped to provide the hotel's guests with comfort and convenience.

The shuttle is to be utilized as a corporate courtesy shuttle to take hotel guests to and from their local corporate offices. The shuttle may also be utilized to take guests to the many nearby attractions and points of interests. The hotel plans on operating the shuttle weekdays, excluding holidays in the peak morning hours, and again in the peak afternoon hours. For the most part, the hotel's shuttle will stay within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. Hotel guests will be able to check availability and reserve a time slot with guest service agents at the reception desk.

The hotel's sales team also plans on utilizing the new shuttle for their designated markets. The shuttle may be provide transportation to some of the hotel's social and corporate groups, which may include days and times that are not regularly scheduled. Guests will be able to make these arrangements with the sales manager they are working directly with. In the coming weeks, the hotel's General Manager, Franklin Manchester and the sales team will be taking the new shuttle around to various offices, corporate parks and catering halls for potential clients and customers to see firsthand.    

The Holiday Inn Westbury's Director of Operations, Kushank Gupta stated, "The new shuttle is another amenity and service we want to offer our guests. It has been something that many guests and potential guests have inquired about in the past, so we decided it was time to provide a desired service, which ultimately offers added value to the Hotel as a whole. We're confident it will be utilized by current guests, and future guests that are seeking such services in the area. It's just great!"

The Holiday Inn Westbury is centrally located in Nassau County, Long Island. It is in close proximity to many corporate hubs and offices. It is just a short distance from places such as Winthrop University Hospital, Roosevelt Field, Hofstra and Adelphi Universities, Mitchel Field Athletic Complex, Museum Row, Westbury Music Fair and the Long Island Rail Road, just to mention a few.

The hotel's Front Office Manager, Katie Carriero will be working with her front desk team and the hotel's guests on a regular basis to manage the new service being provided to guests. When Carriero was asked what she thinks about the hotel's newest amenity addition, she said, "I'm excited for the hotel and our guests. My team focuses on customer service and satisfaction. I think guests are going to really enjoy the new service."

The Holiday Inn Westbury received its shuttle just last week. The hotel's team has been preparing for it, but now that it's on sight, the hotel is in full gear promoting it, and arranging the various steps necessary to ensure all operations run smoothly.
