Specializing in non-residential heating, ventilation and air conditioning products (HVAC), Unison Comfort Technologies has been successful in rapidly designing new products to meet the needs of end-users, improve air quality, maximize efficiency and reduce operating costs. With revenues exceeding $90 million, the company grew during the recession.
In addition to operations in Minnesota and Tennessee, the Sacramento facility produces Innovent and Valent product lines for the Western United States. Innovent Air Handling Equipment® is a custom manufacturer of commercial/industrial energy recovery HVAC equipment. Valent Air Management Systems® is a manufacturer of high-outdoor air packaged rooftop units designed to address the needs of building owners, specifying engineers and installing contractors.
SME members are interested in seeing state-of-the-art manufacturing methods for which Unison Comfort Technologies is known, explained SME Sacramento Valley president-elect, Jeff Briggs. “It will be fascinating to hear how this dynamic company stays agile and continuously develops new products,” said Briggs. “SME fosters manufacturing innovation and professional development. Tours are a great way to get new ideas on how to improve systems, product development, production capacity and responsiveness to customers.”
