Arlington, Virginia-based multifamily developer Insight Property Group announced today that Timothy White has joined the company as Development Associate for its expanding pipeline of multifamily and mixed-used development projects.

As Development Associate, Timothy will be responsible for analysis, due-diligence and development for upcoming projects in Falls Church, Virginia and in Washington, DC. Before joining the Insight team, Timothy was an Acquisition Analyst at Van Metre Companies where he actively sourced and underwrote acquisitions of multifamily and other types of real estate assets.

Insight has recently acquired a large assemblage in downtown Falls Church, Virginia and controls several major development sites in downtown Washington, DC. This new pipeline will expand Insight’s growing presence in the DC-area multifamily and mixed-use development market.

Meanwhile, Insight’s Apollo project, a $197,000,000 mixed-use development on H Street NE that will be anchored by a Whole Foods Market, is currently under construction with initial delivery of retail space set for 2016. Recently completed Insight apartment projects include the 310-unit Fenwick near the Metro in Silver Spring, Maryland, and the 240-unit Shelby near the Huntington Metro in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County, Virginia, both now leasing. Other current Insight projects include the re-development of the Metro Rosslyn Apartments in Arlington, Virginia. The company has also acquired 572 existing apartments in four Metro DC-area locations.
