The New Trim-It™ interactive design tool, recently added to the extensive visualization collection on, aids in the selection of trim accessory and accent product decisions that many homeowners didn’t realize were available to them. The tool displays three unique home styles with dozens of complementary decorative trim options to add character to any home. Users can select from the virtually maintenance-free Vinyl Carpentry® or the Restoration Millwork® cellular PVC accessory product lines to create the look they want to achieve. From porch columns and gables to corners and window/door trim, the vignettes clearly show options side-by-side. The visuals and short product descriptions bring attention to all available options — easily assisting homeowners in selecting unique finishing details for their home.

Trim-It joins an improved ColorView® home visualization online design tool that allows users to view and try on product colors and profile options and see them realistically applied to a photo of their own home or a similar style home before installation. In addition, with the CurbAppeal iPad® app and ColorCoach virtual swatch book, users can experiment with exterior design in a wide selection of siding, roofing, accents, trim, shutters, doors and more. A gallery of homes is also included for multiple design ideas and additional inspiration for fail-proof decision-making.

In addition to the digital interactive tools, two new brochures clearly show how to transform a home from ordinary to extraordinary. The new “Decorative Trim” catalog categorizes all vinyl trim offerings by family. Window and door trim, corner systems, accents and wall and soffit transitions are shown in selection-ready simple, more definition and classic enhancement options portrayed with beautiful illustrations and close-up installation photography.

And the recently enhanced “Finishing Touches” brochure brings subtle, bold and contrasting looks to life with stunning imagery. Featuring product highlights from the Vinyl Carpentry, Restoration Millwork, Cedar Impressions® Shake- and Shingle-style siding, EverNew® porch and railing collections, the look-book effortlessly shows how definitive color differences and various shapes and lines of a home can enhance curb appeal.

“Finishing Touches” complements the popular “No Place Like Home” brochure for inspirational ideas and the latest trends from the experts–including strong colors, mixing-and-matching of materials, dark trim, roof colors and the use of two or more exterior wall colors to ensure a home leaves a lasting impression.
