Nuvon Announces Staff Additions and Promotions in Support of Continued Growth and Expansion
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 13, 2015 -- Nuvon, Inc., a leader in medical device integration, interoperability, and clinical intelligence, is pleased to announce the following staff promotions and additions:
Jeanne Venella, DNP, MS, RN, CEN, CPEN, who joined Nuvon in 2013 as Clinical Practice Specialist, has been promoted to Chief Nursing Officer. In this role, she develops strategic nursing workflow plans, data analysis, and systems that support efficiency and effectiveness for Nuvon’s clients. Jeanne also helps clients evolve the priorities of standardization, cross-continuum of care, and organizational strategy. Jeanne has spent her career transforming emergency nursing care and improving processes. In combination with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, Jeanne brings both day-to-day operational experience – with more than three decades as a certified emergency nurse – and classroom theory to Nuvon clients. Her career includes positions with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Blue Jay Consulting.
Kara Olenzak, who also joined Nuvon in 2013, has been promoted to Director, Operations. Kara possesses lengthy operational management experience in many types of verticals. With experience in human resources, product supply chain, shipping, receivables, accounting, and facilities management, she is responsible for much of the daily Nuvon operations. She graduated from Providence College with a B.S. in Business Administration. She is a proud mother of 3, and enjoys coaching basketball and soccer.
Robert Spikol has joined Nuvon as Senior Software Engineer. He has over 30 years of experience in developing software systems that interact with real world processes in real-time. These systems ranged from industrial control to telecom to medical applications. Throughout his career, Robert has applied the leading technologies of the time to solving complex programming challenges. He is expert in foundational technologies like assembly language programming and C as well as advanced techniques like Object Oriented Programming, Polymorphism and Generic Programming. He also has extensive experience in the complete software development life cycle including software quality practices and field support. Robert graduated from Drexel University with an M.A. in Computer Engineering and he holds a B.S. in Computer Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Jonathan Krieger has joined the Nuvon team as Director, Project Implementation. He possesses significant experience in the healthcare IT space, with direct involvement deploying and supporting medical device and systems integration solutions in hospitals and healthcare systems. His expertise includes developing and supporting network systems and enterprise class medical interfacing systems that use HL7 and other standards for connecting systems to improve care coordination. Jonathan earned his B.A. in Information Systems from Rutgers University – Camden.
