Houston, Texas (PRWEB) April 13, 2015
The inaugural Sea, Earth, and Space (SES) Summit will be an unprecedented gathering of the nation’s most influential and creative thought leaders in human performance and exploration, and the practitioners, academicians, and researchers who are best equipped to help facilitate the next giant leap in human exploration.
SES Summit 2015 is the world’s newest human performance and exploration conference taking place October 30 – November 1, 2015, at the South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center in League City, TX (just minutes from the NASA Johnson Space Center).
“We are delighted to welcome some of the most dynamic speakers in exploration and human performance to this one-of-a-kind event to roll up their sleeves and tackle some of the biggest issues in human performance in the exploration of extreme environments,” said SES Summit Organizer, Jamie Guined. “SES Summit 2015 is truly an unprecedented opportunity for professionals to come together and move the needle forward for expanding the limits of human performance in the exploration of the sea, Earth, and space.”
The list of confirmed speakers includes astronauts, explorers, scientists, and academics whose exploits have taken them from the depths of the ocean to the peaks of the highest mountains and beyond the bounds of Earth into outer space.
The Sea, Earth, and Space (SES) Summit will bring together professionals from industry, government, and academia to explore the boundaries of human performance and exploration like never before. Offering three unique educational tracks, the SES Summit will provide in-depth forums and expert exchange for researchers, educators, and professionals on the topic of human performance in the exploration of the sea, Earth, and space. A mini-workshop for educators and citizen scientists on educational and public outreach, science communication, and opportunities in citizen science will be offered over the course of two half-days, and will include demonstrations of a variety of underwater ROVs that are being used for research, exploration, and conservation purposes by citizen and professional scientists across the world. The event will also feature a special exhibit highlighting the contributions of the U.S. Navy’s SEALAB II program, which coincides with the program’s 50th anniversary. With such a wide variety of applications, the SES Summit has something for everyone, from scientists to extreme human performance coaches and everyone in between.
Through a combination of dynamic plenary sessions, over 50 featured speaker sessions, and several expert panels, attendees will experience an open and collaborative platform that fosters innovation and learning. The Summit will also host an Exhibitor Hall filled with leading technology providers who offer innovative solutions for optimizing human performance and exploration throughout a wide range of operational and environmental challenges.
