The Marine Corps Association & Foundation Hosts the 12th Annual Ground Awards Dinner in May
Arlington, Virginia (PRWEB) April 18, 2015 -- The Marine Corps Association & Foundation, in coordination with Lieutenant General Ronald Bailey, Deputy Commandant for Plans, Policies and Operations, will host the 12th Annual MCA&F Ground Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.
The dinner serves as the annual opportunity to recognize the professional achievements of the top performing Marine leaders in the ground combat community during 2014.
The evening will start with a no-host reception at 6:00 Pm with dinner following at 7:00 Pm.
The Dinner’s guest speaker, General Joseph F. Dunford, Jr., will address dinner guests on the challenges facing Marines and Marine Air Ground Task Forces in today’s dynamic environment and will help present the evening’s awards. The awards include the Marine of the Year Awards for the 1st, 2d, 3d and 4th Marine Divisions, MARSOC NCO Critical Skills Operator of the Year Award, the Chambers, Zembiec, Hulbert and Leftwich Trophies for Outstanding Leadership.
Attendance is $45.00 for MCA&F members and $65.00 for non-members. Active duty Marines may attend at no charge, but must RSVP by April 24.
