On April 3, 2015, the Neptune Society, the largest provider of affordable cremation services in the country, visited the children and families of Ronald McDonald Houses in Greater San Antonio with surprise Easter Baskets. There are currently three Ronald McDonald House locations in San Antonio and two in nearby Laredo, Texas.

The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home facility where families can lodge while their children are being treated at various medical centers in San Antonio, Texas. The first Ronald McDonald House opened in San Antonio on May 6, 1985 and expanded to a 20-family home in 1991. On January 10, 2002, the third location was opened to accommodate 10 families, becoming the first Ronald McDonald House worldwide to be located within a hospital.
