We are incredibly excited to have DataSite and Eric Blomquist joining OTA. DataSite provides colocation solutions for some of the world’s largest companies right here in Orlando.
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) April 13, 2015
DataSite is excited to announce that they have become a Community Supporter for the Orlando Tech Association (OTA). Orlando has a well-established technology community and is becoming the place to be if you are an innovative startup in the tech sector. Understanding this, the OTA was formed about a year ago to bring this forward-thinking group of dynamic people together to drive the progress of the industry forward. DataSite has long been a support of technology groups so it only made sense that they become a part of this progressive and hard-working network of people.
Eric Blomquist, Director of Client Solutions at DataSite, will take a seat on the OTA’s Board of Advisors to be able to share his extensive IT and technical knowledge with the group. Mr. Blomquist is an Orlando native, having graduated from Boone High School he then went on to the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. Mr. Blomquist has held numerous Business Development, Engineering and Consulting positions at companies to include Computer Associates, SunGard Availability Services and EMC where he consulted with Fortune 1,000 clients on transformative technologies, IT strategies, systems deployments and best practices.
“We are incredibly excited to have DataSite and Eric Blomquist joining OTA. DataSite provides colocation solutions for some of the world’s largest companies right here in Orlando.” says Orrett Davis, Executive Director of Orlando Tech Association. “We think there’s a significant role that DataSite and their team can have in helping Orlando’s tech community bridge the gap between startups and the enterprise.”
Eric Blomquist, Director of Client Solutions adds, “I am very excited to join the OTA and to help find ways to support new technology startups, help existing technology companies grow, as well as attract businesses to Central Florida and to support our national exposure as a great place for technology.”
