The Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana is an IndyCar Series race to be held for the first time at the NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, Louisiana. The top 5 drivers in point standings, Juan Pablo Montoya, Will Power, Tony Kanaan, Helio Castroneves, and Simon Pagenaud along with all the stars of the IndyCar Series will battle it out around the 13-turn, 2.74 mile track for the checkered flag. As part of the opening ceremony, Team Fastrax will be performing an amazing and patriotic aerial display with their 5,000 and 1,100 sq. ft. US flags.

According to the Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana website, this three-day weekend festival will attract party-goers from all over the world to witness this first-time action packed event. The newly designed NOLA Motorsports Park facility will feature a 2.74-mile track with 13 turns that incorporate passing zones suitable for the Verizon IndyCar Series and Mazda Road to Indy Series. This event promises to offer outstanding racing, local New Orleans flare and family-friendly activities for all that attend.
