InSite Solutions, a manufacturer that does business as Stop-Painting.com, announced the debut of its next-generation tools that enable customers to build their own custom floor tapes and floor signs.
Floor signs and floor marking tapes are widely used as part of 5S and Lean management initiatives that companies undertake to become better organized; experts say that a visually organized workplace increases productivity. The new customization tools enable businesses to create floor signs and floor tape that are specific to their own needs rather than having to use one-size-fits-all products.
“We created this new design tool in an effort to simplify the process of purchasing customized floor marking products,” said Cliff Lowe, founder of InSite Solutions.
To that end, InSite Solutions’ new website allows customers to design their own floor signs and floor tape and view them onscreen in real time. Designs will appear as if they were imprinted on the sign or tape. In other words, customers can see as they go. Once they are satisfied with their choice of sizes, colors, words, and/or images, they can submit the order and have their custom designed floor marking product delivered within a matter of days.
“This will help companies implement their 5S and Lean management in their own way,” Lowe added. “They can tailor their signs and floor tape in any way they need to, adding their company’s branding by uploading logos or photos.”
InSite’s flagship product, Superior MarkTM floor tape, is a patented material that has become popular in manufacturing environments. InSite’s floor signs are printed on a proprietary heavy duty rubber material, as opposed to conventional vinyl overlaminates.
InSite Solutions, founded in 2001 and located in Wake Forest, North Carolina, manufactures and sells products for marking industrial floors and pavement. It is best known as the maker of Superior Mark™ Floor Tape, a U.S.-patented floor tape with beveled edges to resist shearing.
