Healthcare Data Solutions (HDS), a leading provider of healthcare databases, compliance and business intelligence services, today announced they were named Concur App Center “Partner of the Year” for the third year in a row for their HDS Concur Connect application. HDS Concur Connect allows Concur users to easily access critical healthcare provider data required for Open Payments reporting and other regulatory requirements. Healthcare Data Solutions boasts a 97% retention rate amongst volumes of HDS Concur Connect clients, which is why the prestigious award has been presented to them for the third consecutive year.

The Physician Payments Sunshine Act/Open Payments requires manufacturers of drugs, medical devices and biologicals that participate in U.S. federal healthcare programs to report certain payments and items of value given to Physicians and teaching hospitals. HDS Concur Connect integrates with Concur to provide pharmaceutical, medical device and other life sciences healthcare organizations with accurate and up-to-date healthcare provider data required for reporting, including State license, NPI, Taxonomy, sanction and address information.

“It is such an honor to be named Concur’s App Center 'Partner of the Year' for the third consecutive year,” said Bill Horne, CEO of Healthcare Data Solutions. “We are absolutely committed to our partnership with Concur and look forward to the ongoing development of solutions that meet the growing needs of our mutual life sciences customers.”

The award coincides with Healthcare Data Solutions’ release of HDS Global Concur Connect, a powerful tool for gathering data on healthcare providers outside the U.S. to comply with international transparency regulations, such as Loi Bertrand and EFPIA. HDS has also recently upgraded the HDS Concur Connect app with a reporting tool that allows customers to extract data and convert it into the proper format for both Federal and State reporting.

“Healthcare Data Solutions has demonstrated year over year that they are dedicated to providing the high quality data and reporting solutions for Concur Life Sciences customers,” said Barry Padgett, Chief Product Officer, at Concur. "We are delighted to recognize Healthcare Data Solutions for their outstanding commitment to our partnership for the third year in a row.”
