RSC has long embraced an open integration approach because unrestricted component choice is important when companies wish to accomplish such transformations without disrupting established processes that support their business operations.

Revelation Software Concepts(RSC), a pioneer and market leader in simplifying change control and automation for SAP® software users, has launched a comprehensive new website covering all of RSC’s change control and change intelligence solutions. The site leverages RSC’s seamless integration between its own products and those of the company’s growing list of ALM technology partners.

RSC’s software integrations with flagship SAP Change Control product Rev-Trac encompass an expanding range of ALM technologies including code inspection, impact analysis, test and quality assurance, and system intelligence from RSC’s own Salt for SAP applications. Over the past year, in response to customer requests, RSC has added integrations with the industry’s leading service desk providers as well.

“For some time, analysts have urged businesses with SAP software infrastructures to integrate their systems end-to-end in order to tighten system governance and increase automation,” said Rick Porter, VP Business Development, Revelation Software Concepts. “RSC has long embraced an open integration approach because unrestricted component choice is important when companies wish to accomplish such transformations without disrupting established processes that support their business operations.”

Wider use of mixed best-of-breed ALM tools has heightened recent interest in integrations as a way to maintain a “single source of truth” across all systems. Another driver for expanding RSC’s commitment to open integration is the growing shift among large IT organizations to a DevOps approach, which can deliver business value more quickly in the form of working software. DevOps seeks to eliminate the “silos” that keep functions like ITSM, ALM applications, CSM, ERP and ECC separate.

Many organizations are now transitioning toward a single smooth, interconnected infrastructure. Open and effective integrations help them achieve this goal.

A recently published repor t by Forrester Research validates this connection, stating, “The walls between development, operations, and the business are coming down, ushering in a new age of collaboration that, in leading organizations, is already proving itself in delivering real business value faster and more frequently.”
