Invata Intralogistics, Inc., specialists in the design, implementation, and life cycle support of warehouse automation systems, today announced it has hired Ayman Labib to lead its Operations Research effort.
As a key support function of Invata’s sales effort, the Operations Research Group Ayman will be heading is tasked with working with Invata clients to fully understand their operations and, in doing so, develop visualization and reporting tools that can be used in benchmarking the performance of those operations. The group is also tasked with helping guide clients through the data collection, validation, and analysis process Invata uses to support its new design effort. As a result of its in-depth understanding of each client’s operations, the Operations Research Group is a key member of the Invata Systems Design Team.
Ayman joins Invata with 14 years of experience in industrial engineering and project management. During his tenure in the consulting industry, he has managed, led, or participated in over 90 operational improvement studies, 30+ Greenfield facility designs, and operational start-ups for more than 50 clients in the manufacturing, services, and distribution arena. His expertise includes distribution analysis, layout planning, cost justification, software gap analysis, implementation coordination, lean manufacturing, and simulation.
