Long Island, NY (PRWEB) April 12, 2015
Father's Day is just around the corner, and the Sporting News Grill of the Holiday Inn Westbury - Long Island has prepared an exceptional Father's Day BBQ and Buffet for families all around Long Island to enjoy. Father's Day happens to be one of the more popular days for barbecuing in the United States; however, the majority of those working the barbecue grills are men, which typically means Dad puts on his barbecuing apron, and gets to work behind the grill. Now, most will say they love to work the barbecue, but how about treating Dad and the family to just some valuable time together and allowing someone else to cook?
That's just what the Sporting News Grill and the Holiday Inn have in mind. They plan on lighting up their grills, stoves and ovens in order to let Dads take a break, and just enjoy the great comfort foods that most Americans have come to love on special barbecue occasions. The Sporting News Grill's Executive Chef Miguel and the Director of Food and Beverage, Steve Miller have developed a BBQ and Buffet menu to delight Dad and the entire family. Franklin Manchester, the Hotel and Restaurant's General Manager, stated, "We're delighted to host such events because we love seeing families spending valuable time together, and just enjoying our great food and service from our dedicated hospitality team. We'll be working hard to ensure each and every guest enjoys their visit. We always exceed the expectations of our guests, and we're confident we'll do the same this Father's Day."
They will be serving delicious sliced steak, burgers cooked to perfection, hot dogs, ribs, chicken, side salads, plus additional hot entrees, side dishes, and a salad bar. Of course, they'll also be serving some great desserts as well, which includes an ice cream sundae bar, chocolate fountain, snow cones, and more.
The Sporting News Grill will have their outdoor garden courtyard patio seating open (weather permitting), but the entire restaurant will be set-up to accommodate all guests, rain or shine. The restaurant may accommodate up to 80 guests per seating. It has 18 large flat screen HD TVs broadcasting all the sporting events one could ask for, plus it has a full service bar with twelve - (12) draft beers that includes some great local micro brews. The Sporting News Grill will be serving one complimentary draft beer to every Dad (21 years and older) who partakes in the Father's Day BBQ and Buffet.
The price per person is at a great value of $35.00 per person, plus tax and 18% gratuity. Children under the age of 12 are half price, and children under the age of 3 dine free. Reservations are required for all party sizes. To make your reservation, please call 516-213-9200.
