(http://www.empireoffice.com), a leading provider of contract furniture solutions, announces it has come to an agreement for the expansion of its Florida operations with the planned acquisition of the business assets of Office Elements. Office Elements has a 15 year history serving the South Florida market as a Kimball, AIS and National dealer specializing in education, hospitality, healthcare and municipalities.
Currently located in Pompano Beach, the Office Elements showroom will relocate to Boca Raton in the coming months while taking on the Empire Office brand. Empire’s regional hub, currently located in Hollywood, will remain in place. This strategic relocation provides easier access and support for customers located in Palm Beach County.
Current owners, managers and staff are staying in place to continue to service existing accounts and work with regional leadership to obtain new business opportunities.

This is Empire’s third acquisition of a dealer in the state of Florida in the last six years. The first was the 2009 acquisition of Thomas W. Ruff South Florida. In 2012, Empire acquired the Florida operations of Storr Office Environments, gaining a presence in Tampa and Orlando. With the OE acquisition, Empire’s total footprint in the state now exceeds 188,000 square feet of showroom and warehouse space.

For the convenience of our clients and suppliers, the Asset Purchase Agreement provides that Office Elements will fulfill its existing backlog of orders as it exists as of the end of business, April 10, 2015. All new orders will be booked by the organization under its new ownership, Empire Office, Inc.
