Optimove’s number of clients increased 89% to 150, while it ended 2014 with 65 employees—60% more than it had at the start of the year. In 2015, Optimove plans to continue its rapid expansion with a particular focus on the US and UK markets. It will hire aggressively in all departments of the company, while devoting additional resources to its R&D and product development initiatives. The company recently announced the opening of a new UK office, managed by Digital River’s former global vice president, Richard Mitchell. It also hired Joel Lesher from ExactTarget to grow the company’s retail business in the United States.
