Optimove Doubles Its Revenue and User Base in 2014

Optimove’s retention automation platform delivered more than 670 million marketing messages to over 31.6 million unique customers on behalf of leading brands

Optimove (http://www.optimove.com), a provider of automated retention marketing solutions, announced today that from 2013 to 2014 the company doubled both its revenue and the number of active users on its platform. Optimove’s number of clients increased 89% to 150, while it ended 2014 with 65 employees—60% more than it had at the start of the year. Optimove also shared statistics about the quantities and types of marketing messages sent through its platform in an infographic that was published today on its blog, at http://www.optimove.com/blog/year-end-review-2014.

Optimove’s retention automation platform delivered more than 670 million marketing messages to over 31.6 million unique customers on behalf of leading brands, including Zynga, Outbrain, Caesar’s Interactive Entertainment, Nelly, 888 and many others. The most-used message delivery channel was email (with approximately 211 million emails sent), followed by Facebook (113.5 million ad impressions), in-platform (9.4 million notices), SMS (6.5 million messages) and mobile push (3.4 million notifications).

In 2015, Optimove plans to continue its rapid expansion with a particular focus on the US and UK markets. It will hire aggressively in all departments of the company, while devoting additional resources to its R&D and product development initiatives. The company recently announced the opening of a new UK office, managed by Digital River’s former global vice president, Richard Mitchell. It also hired Joel Lesher from ExactTarget to grow the company’s retail business in the United States.
