A leading national fertility center provides ongoing learning series to inform families considering donor egg treatment.

"This educational series teaches prospective patients about the benefits of the Donor Egg Treatment program and how we can help them decide to take the next step,” said Michele Purcell, BSN, MHA, RN, Donor Egg and Egg Freezing Program Director.

Shady Grove Fertility endeavors to provide prospective patients with an in-depth fertility education before undergoing clinical care. One area in which patients frequently seek more information is donor egg treatment. To provide this knowledge and bring clarity to potential questions on this topic, Shady Grove Fertility physicians and staff participate in a monthly Donor Egg learning series. As part of this series, free Donor Egg Treatment webcasts and seminars will be held throughout the year online and in practice locations in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Pennsylvania.

During Donor Egg Treatment webcasts and seminars, attendees will learn more about Shady Grove Fertility’s personalized approach to care, along with in-depth information about the donor egg treatment process: who should consider donor egg treatment; who are the donors and how are they screened; and an overview of the Shared Donor Egg Program. Shady Grove Fertility’s success rates and exclusive financial options, including the Shared Risk for Donor Egg 100% Refund Program, are also discussed.

“Our Donor Egg Treatment Program offers patients a way to fulfill their dreams of parenthood, while having access to the highest live birth success rates in our practice and revolutionary financial programs like Shared Donor Egg. This educational series teaches prospective patients about the benefits of this program and how we can help them decide to take the next step,” said Michele Purcell, BSN, MHA, RN, Donor Egg and Egg Freezing Program Director.

The next Donor Egg Treatment seminar in this program will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in Rockville, MD. Michael J. Levy, M.D., a founding partner and Director of IVF at Shady Grove Fertility, will present. On April 23, 2015, Naveed Khan, M.D., will host a Donor Egg Treatment webcast at 6:30 p.m.
