Iroquois Valley Farms LLC, a leading organic farmland leasing company, announced the release of a new private placement offering. The new offering, available only for accredited investors under Regulation D Rule 506(c), consists of $15 million equity and $5 million debt. Equity investors buy into an existing diversified portfolio of 23 farms, which will soon include two more that are currently under contract. The Company is selling the offering without any fees or commissions with the proceeds being used to fund new farm acquisitions. David E. Miller, Co-founder and CEO, stated, “coming off of a very successful 2014, we are excited to expand our offering so as to regenerate even more soil and enable more farmers to build a sustainable farm business.”
Iroquois Valley Farms has a robust track record of using the capital raised from private offerings to grow the Company through farm acquisitions. This offering will be the fourth in as many years. The prior offering raised over $9 million in new capital. Kevin Egolf, Managing Director, added, “This new offering demonstrates our commitment to raising impact investing capital through the private market. The no-fee structure is great for the growing networks of fee-based and fee-only financial advisors and the demand for SRI investment options.”
