AtSite, a leading smart building solutions company, and Urjanet, the world’s first provider of automated Big Energy Data, today announced a strategic data partnership. AtSite has incorporated Urjanet’s automated utility data into the company’s smart building services platform, InSite, to provide clients better visibility into energy consumption.

The AtSite and Urjanet partnership is in response to a growing demand from multi-facility organizations for solutions that enable automated access to data from disparate utilities.

“This is a natural partnership,” said Rob Wyte, Vice President of AtSite. “Urjanet delivers high-quality utility data, which is easier to manage, has a higher fidelity, and is delivered faster. Their data enables us to improve our clients’ visibility into energy consumption, so our clients can better identify cost and carbon reduction opportunities.”

Urjanet’s near real-time energy data services automate the collection, normalization, and delivery of data from more than 1,500 utility providers. Rather than relying on manual utility bill data entry, Urjanet’s technology aggregates data and delivers it directly into InSite. This automated energy data provides visibility into building performance, enabling building owners, facilities managers, property managers, contractors, and performance engineers to identify opportunities to cut energy costs and reduce their organizations’ carbon footprints.

“We’re very excited to partner with AtSite to enhance its smart building solutions with our automated energy data,” said Gary Brooks, Urjanet’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Helping AtSite eliminate its need for manual data entry while enabling the company to provide its clients with the data they need to uncover energy patterns and trends and deliver actionable intelligence is very rewarding for the Urjanet team.”
