Globally-recognized restaurant brand Tony Roma’s announces the launch of new menu items featuring farm-fresh cuisine and cocktails at participating locations. Inspiration for these new dishes came from the experience of a farmer’s market, where vibrant produce takes center-stage.

“Cruising through this new menu is like walking through a farmers market with ingredients including farm-ripened fruits and crisp vegetables,” said Jim Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer for Romacorp, Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma’s. “It’s not only about the food; the warm, familiar atmosphere at Tony Roma’s welcomes our guests, creating a neighborhood-feel inside our restaurants, just as a farmer’s market creates a sense of community.”

This limited time menu features a new Sweet Black Pepper BBQ Sauce, which smothers the Filet Medallions & Black Pepper Rib Combo, served with fresh broccoli and mashed potatoes. The sauce adds enticing flavor to the BBQ Shrimp Tacos served with cucumber and pineapple salsa. Guests can also enjoy lighter flavors of the Mahi with Lemon Pesto Shrimp served over kale rice or the Green Goddess Salad, featuring fresh avocado, radishes, cucumbers, and polenta & quinoa croutons. End your meal with a Three Berry Mascarpone Cake topped with blueberries, raspberries and strawberries.

Tony Roma’s is also giving back with its new menu by participating in the Trinity Oaks ‘One Bottle One Tree’ program. For every bottle of Trinity Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon sold, Trinity Oaks will plant a tree, allowing guests to celebrate nature just in time for Earth Day. Also from the bar, guests can indulge in Tony Roma’s Guava Mango Romarita, a refreshing mix of sweet and citrus flavors.

“At a farmer’s market, the ingredients are simple, and we’ve tried to keep this menu modest so the tastes of the farm can really shine,” said Chef Bob Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Purchasing for Tony Roma’s. “We've even added a twist to the BBQ sauce, but we did so with such a simple, classic ingredient—fresh ground black pepper—which really channels the farmer’s market flavors.”
