Adding value to portfolio companies goes beyond simple cost-cutting and operational efficiencies
McLean, Virginia (PRWEB) April 15, 2015
Jim Corey, Managing Partner at Blue Ridge Partners, will share his insights on maximizing value creation by driving revenue growth and sales effectiveness at this year's Private Equity International Operating Partners Forum in London, to be held April 15 and 16 at the Institute of Directors. The two-day annual event is the preeminent European gathering of professionals in private equity.
Corey will speak on day two of the event. "Accelerating profitable revenues is the key in driving growth and increasing ownership value," said Corey. "Adding value to portfolio companies goes beyond simple cost-cutting and operational efficiencies. Implementing a data-driven analysis of revenue and taking a hard look at the effectiveness of sales processes will deliver lasting results and open up the possibility of new revenue drivers within each portfolio company."
In addition to the London event, Carter Hinckley, Blue Ridge Partners Managing Director, will speak at the Harvard Club in New York on May 7, and at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco on June 4, at the CFO Forum. The CFO Forum presents an opportunity for networking and insightful discussions. Hinckley's session, "Optimizing the Revenue Opportunity," looks at the dramatic data-driven transformation that has occurred in sales and marketing. "Now armed with a wealth of detailed information, buyers can negotiate from a position of strength," said Hinckley. "Sellers must adapt to these changes, and the CFO will play an increasingly important role in optimizing revenue opportunities."
During his session, Hinckley will deliver specific ideas on how the CFO can optimize sales opportunities, overcome obstacles faced in improving sales performance and assess sales effectiveness.
