The Tewksbury, MA, Design/Build Signage Firm Will Offer Established and New Customers in Southern New Hampshire and Vermont the Same “World Class” Capabilities Already Available to Its Customers in Greater Boston

Metro Sign & Awning of Tewksbury, MA, has expanded to Southern New Hampshire and Vermont through the acquisition of Custom Designs Signs (CDS) of Keene, NH, making it easier and more convenient to deliver on its more than 25-plus years of experience in signage design, fabrication, and services to businesses, architects, and developers in the greater Monadnock and Brattleboro regions of New Hampshire and Vermont.

Custom Designs Signs is a full-service signage company that has been serving the Monadnock Region since 1969. The company has developed its enviable reputation by crafting high-quality and eye-catching signs and displays for a large number of local businesses, including the Keene State “Wall of Donor Recognition,” Nanotech, Brattleboro Ford, TGI Friday’s, and The Center at Keene. The company boasts a proud tradition of using only the highest quality materials and focusing on making sure each business it services is not only found but is remembered.

CDS has been owned and operated by Jim Vitous since 2003. Jim will stay on with CDS to help maintain and expand relations with current customers. Longtime employee and sign maker Kris Arnold will also stay with the firm, which will continue to be operated under its current name. However, both of these key CDS players will now become part of the highly seasoned Metro Sign & Awning team of Brian Chipman, Tom Dunn, Corey Fisher and Adam Brodeur to supply advice, expertise, and services to existing and new customers. Metro Sign & Awning’s management looks forward to maintaining and exceeding the high level of service and community participation in Southern New Hampshire and Vermont established by Custom Designs Signs. “I wouldn’t sell this company to just anyone,” says Jim Vitous. “We are a local company with a strong commitment to the schools, communities, and local businesses. I’m confident that Metro Sign and Awning will continue to carry through the values we’ve built over the years.”
