Through consulting, I’ve worked directly with over 50 Arizona entrepreneurs across dozens of industries and every one of them either wants to get out of the day-to-day operations or would like to one day sell their company.

Ronzio Enterprises Inc, a Phoenix-based efficiency consulting firm, recently launched its new web-based software, Trainual, a simple learning management system that makes it easy for small businesses to document their processes and train employees in one centralized location.

Trainual, designed to reduce the burden of high turnover and long training periods, is an application for building an online training manual for any company.

“Through consulting, I’ve worked directly with over 50 Arizona entrepreneurs across dozens of industries and every one of them either wants to get out of the day-to-day operations or would like to one day sell their company,” said Chris Ronzio, founder of Ronzio Enterprises, Inc. “The only way they can do that is to share their knowledge with the employees that they hire. Trainual is the perfect solution for creating a simple yet effective training program for any small business.”

Three student entrepreneurs in the Arizona State University Edson Program originally designed the software, but after graduating in 2014 with little traction, they moved on to other projects. Seeing the value for small businesses, Ronzio negotiated terms to purchase the code, rebranded the site, added new functionality and has now publicly launched the application.

Trainual’s core features include an intuitive content editor, the ability to quickly invite users and assign curriculums, assessments to track employee understanding and visual reports to hold employees accountable for progress. Documenting systems and processes online helps to reduce training costs and to maintain consistent knowledge distribution throughout any business or organization.

Forbes estimates that the learning management system industry is a $2.5 billion market, and is growing at over 20 percent per year. Ronzio says that most solutions are geared toward enterprise businesses with several hundred employees and complex organization structures.
“Trainual is simple. It was created for small businesses and start-ups and I want to keep it that way,” he explained.
