Shmoop University announced that on March 27, 2015, the Delhi High Court issued an order restraining Goyal Brothers Prakashan, a publishing company located in India, from publishing and selling works infringing Shmoop’s copyrighted summaries of the novels The Invisible Man and Silas Marner. The court found that Shmoop's materials, which are available for free online, were copied verbatim into the infringing publications.
