Bowker Insurance Group and Nonprofit AAA Pregnancy Resource Center Initiate Charity Campaign in Michigan to Offer Care and Support to Women Facing Unplanned Pregnancies
Livonia, MI (PRWEB) April 20, 2015 -- With a new community program in Michigan, Bowker Insurance Group has teamed up with AAA Pregnancy Resource Center and announced a new charity campaign to raise funds to support local women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. The organization provides free pregnancy tests, confidential peer counseling, medical and community referrals, and material assistance program among others. AAA Pregnancy Resource Center’s mission is to help women make an informed choice about their unplanned pregnancy by providing them free information about their options, their health and their pregnancy verification. Bowker Insurance Group is starting this campaign to help the organization continue offering these services for women and families in the metro Detroit area. Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Bowker Insurance Group marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.
“Facing an unplanned pregnancy can be very difficult and scary, especially for those at a young age. This wonderful organization offers the necessary resources for women to learn about options for their care, and support networks within the community. We are privileged to be working with them and we want to help them continue assisting many local women and families in our community,” said Cheryl Bowker, the Agency’s principal.
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 45 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Michigan, where the agency currently operates.
