The Pro/Celebrity Race is part of the annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach and it pits celebrities against professional racers to raise money for “Racing for Kids," a national fund-raising program benefiting children’s hospitals in Long Beach and Orange County. In this year’s race, you will see actors Alfonso Ribeiro, Robert Patrick and Mekhi Phifer, Olympian Dara Torres and musicians Mark McGrath and John Rzeznik among the 18 participants from film, television, music, sports and fashion battle it out for the win. Drivers will be using race-prepared Scion FR-S cars in a 10-lap sprint. As part of the opening ceremony of this race, Team Fastrax will be performing an amazing and patriotic aerial display with three of their and 1,100 sq. ft. US flags.
