Lazydays Kicks off Heart Strings for Heroes’ “Strings Across America” Concert Tour
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) April 20, 2015 -- Lazydays, the RV Authority and world’s largest RV dealership, hosted a very special kick-off event for Heart Strings for Heroes “Strings Across America” concert tour today. Heart Strings for Heroes is a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing music therapy to military service men and women injured in the line of duty.
The Heart Strings for Heroes’ “Strings Across America” concert tour, sponsored by Lazydays, will travel to 16-cities across the U.S. from May through August. The kick-off event was held on-site at Lazydays to “reveal” a fully branded Heart Strings for Heroes RV provided by Lazydays. Randall Lay, CFO of Lazydays, presented Wade Sabourin, founder of Heart Strings for Heroes, with the keys to the branded Heart Strings for Heroes/Lazydays RV to begin his 4-month journey across the country.
An autographed guitar, known as the “Instrument of Healing,” will be presented to a Purple Heart recipient in each of the 16 cities on the tour. Musicians who have worked with Heart Strings for Heroes and the presentation of signed guitars include Willie Nelson, KISS, Nickelback, Billy Idol, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many others. Craig Gross, longtime beneficiary of Heart Strings for Heroes, also spoke of what Heart Strings for Heroes means to him and his family. In addition, a representative from the American Legion Riders presented a surprise donation to Heart Strings for Heroes at the event.

Military appreciation is very important to us here at Lazydays,” said Lay. “We have 198 veterans on our team here in Tampa and in Tucson, and over the years we have seen many veterans come through our doors who are avid RVers and loyal Lazydays customer.
