Amano Pioneer Eclipse announced today the strategic acquisition of the FM1700 and FM2000 Floor Maintainers from Nilfisk. The two companies signed a purchase agreement on April 3, 2015 and the sale closed April 20, 2015.
This follows the 2014 acquisition by Amano Pioneer Eclipse of the Clarke American Sanders business from Nilfisk. The addition of the FM1700 and FM2000 Floor Maintainers will further strengthen the position of Amano Pioneer Eclipse as a leader in the floor care technology industry.
“We’re very pleased to have the FM1700 and FM2000 Floor Maintainers join our product family,” said Tom Benton, President and CEO of Amano Pioneer Eclipse. “The FM1700 and FM2000 are well regarded in the floor care industry. We feel that these pieces will fall in line perfectly with our current line of machines and chemicals, while creating additional opportunities for growth.”
The FM1700 and FM2000 Floor Maintainers will join the rest of the Amano Pioneer Eclipse line of machines and chemicals for both the Wood Floor Sanding and JanSan industries that are manufactured in its Sparta plant.
Amano Pioneer Eclipse and Nilfisk will continue working closely together over the coming weeks and months to ensure that customers continue to receive exceptional products and customer support.
