Relative Home Systems Partners with Local Home Developer to Deploy License Plate Recognition System

Relative Home Systems pioneers the use of new automation techniques including this revolutionary access control system. Shadow Creek Estates, a 150-home subdivision located in The Woodlands, is equipped with Visualint Tag technology that uses license plate recognition to automatically open gates or barriers, allowing remote access without the need for a fob, transmitter, or window label.
Camera images capture the numbers and letters on a license plate and are then compared to a list of authorized vehicles, and, if allowed, the gate is opened. The system automatically records and logs all vehicles entering a site. In addition, homeowners can input license plate numbers of guests to provide temporary access to the property. This reliable system eliminates the need for a keypad or intercom system at a gated entrance.
