The Rock ‘n Roll Gods have chosen a new voice to let the people know their music is alive and kicking. His name is Jacob Cade, he is the sixteen year old singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and leader of The Jacob Cade Project. The three-piece rock band is currently on a pursuit to bring Rock ‘n Roll back to the forefront of music. The band is currently working with producers Glenn Sawyer and Rich Veltrop at The Spot Studios in Lakewood, CO. Now in the pre-production phase, the group is in the process of writing their new album. This collection of 10 songs includes the lead single ‘Green Light Go’ which has been released as a music video through Jacob’s YouTube channel. Watch the video here http://bit.ly/JCPGGLG.
The group is also working with Joel Rekiel of BLDGBLKS Music Company to launch a Kickstarter campaign on May 1 to help raise funds for the new album. For The Jacob Cade Project this new campaign marks the official launch of their first Kickstarter project. They’re asking fans to get involved and actively participate in the process of making their record. Supporters will have the opportunity to pledge to the project online through Kickstarter or at Jacob’s website. During upcoming shows, instead of traditional merchandise the band will have the Kickstarter project open on several laptops where fans can make their pledge.
Without the financial support from a label, the band has found an innovative way to help fund their project through Kickstarter. By providing incentives for project backers at various pledge amounts, it’s a fair exchange between artist and supporter. With rewards such as early release physical copies of the CD, limited edition t shirts, liner note credits, private house show performances and some special contributions from Jacob’s personal collection, everyone is sure to find an enticing package that will help the band. Show your support by making your pledge to The Jacob Cade Project’s Kickstarter campaign and together we can bring back Rock ‘n Roll.
