New Pistol Of A Knife Obliterates Tasks

CRKT® released the Lucas Burnley-designed Squid™. Based on the concept of a compact pistol, this everyday carry folding knife is small in stature but big on abilities.

Squid

The 2.25” blade available in silver or black stonewash looks like a standard pocket knife, but it's a full-on tactically inspired every day carry knife that’s ready to take on the largest cutting challenges. By keeping it wide at nearly one inch and going with a drop-point style, Burnley was able to give the blade a good balance of tip strength and point geometry for utility tasks. Friction grooves on top provide a secure grip.

“I wanted a knife that would be easy to carry and non-threatening while still being a functional tool,” recalls Burnley, “so I basically took the features of a full-size tactical folder and scaled them down to a more compact design.”

Just like any good gun, it's great to carry something that instills safety. That’s why the Squid™ comes with an internal frame lock and deep pocket clip for a secure carry.

When it's ready to see some action, use the thumb stud to deploy the blade. Just be careful where it's pointed.

The Squid™ knife manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $29.99.
