Bolingbrook, IL (PRWEB) April 21, 2015
Wi-Tronix®, LLC will host its fourth annual Users Conference May 4 through 6 at Indian Lakes Resort and Spa in Bloomingdale, Ill. At the three-day conference, representatives from shortline, Class I, commuter and passenger long-distance railroads will receive hands-on training to better understand the benefits of the Wi-Tronix system.
The Wi-Tronix system offers both hardware and Software as a Service (SaaS) through its Wireless Processing Unit (Wi-PU™) and website. Customers connect the Wi-PU to their existing onboard subsystems. Wi-Tronix integrates with the systems and sends data wirelessly to the Wi-Tronix back office so users can receive alerts and information in real time.
The conference offers multiple track sessions to teach Wi-Tronix users how to further leverage their deployed systems and the data they receive. Through the Wi-Tronix website, data is organized and presented in a way that it becomes actionable information for railroads and marine operations.
Conference attendees can also expect two opportunities for small group training. Tracks and training offer hands-on demonstrations, use cases and benefits of the system. The sessions cover a range of topics including system health and diagnostics, on-demand event recorder/DVR downloads, fuel saving strategies, system and specialized vehicle integration, GPS Train and mobile phone detection.
Each course covers how users can utilize the Wi-Tronix system to drive safer operations, reduce operating costs, provide enhanced service reliability to customers and improve environmental sustainability.
This year’s conference will showcase recent features of the Wi-Tronix system, like Google Maps tools, as well as planned features that will be released in the upcoming year such as In-Cab Audio.
