Prada's New Milan Venue To Be Equipped With XPAND 3D Systems
Portland, OR (PRWEB) April 22, 2015 -- XPAND (NEOOPTI XPAND Ltd.), a world leader in immersive digital imaging technologies, today announced that XPAND FOUR Kit and XPAND Passive 3D System (Gen2) will be used in theatres in the new Fondazione Prada venue in Milan following the successful deployment of XPAND systems in Italy.
Fondazione Prada’s new venue in Milan will be unveiled on May 9. Created on the site of a former distillery that dates from the 1910’s, the venue is notable for an architectural configuration that combines preexisting buildings with three new structures. The new Fondazione spaces, conceived by architecture firm OMA—led by Rem Koolhaas—expands the repertoire of spatial typologies in which art can be exhibited and shared with the public.
Visitors will enjoy breathtaking shows in a venue equipped with both passive and active 3D systems. XPAND FOUR Kit combined with the newest member of XPAND’s active 3D glasses family, XPAND 3D Glasses Lite Cinema and XPAND Passive 3D Polarization Modulator Gen2, will bring a new dimension to the former industrial spaces.
