PDP Group Inc. (http://www.pdpgroupinc.com) has been endorsed by the Carolinas Credit Union League (http://www.carolinasleague.org) as the exclusive electronic lien and titling (ELT) service provider in North Carolina, eight months ahead of ELT becoming mandatory in the state on January 1, 2016.

PDP Group’s SimplyELT® service allows credit unions to manage automobile titles and other documents electronically within the state. The program provides clients with electronic access to their titles without involvement of lender or dealer personnel, department of motor vehicles staff, or an auto buyer. Electronic services also eliminate fraud as the system reduces manual processing.

SimplyELT is presently available in all 19 states that offer ELT. North Carolina will become the tenth state that has moved to mandatory electronic titling.

“The Carolinas Credit Union League is excited about our new partnership with PDP to provide electronic liens and title services to our credit unions. The North Carolina DMV will mandate electronic filing by January 2016, and we wanted to have a product available for North Carolina credit unions well in advance,” CCUL Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Eric Gelly explained. “Our research found PDP to be the right provider for member credit unions based on service and price.”

The Carolinas Credit Union League represents more than eighty (80) North Carolina credit unions, providing political advocacy, compliance expertise, professional development, community and cooperative initiatives, as well as internal audit and accounting services. CCUL’s numerous affiliated service providers extend value for members through services that support non-interest income, expense reduction, and operational efficiency.

PDP Group Inc. celebrates its 41st anniversary in 2015. Since starting business in 1974, PDP has expanded services beyond offering insurance solutions to vehicle dealers and manufacturers, to include insurance tracking, contract management, vehicle title storage and electronic lien and title to the auto lending community.
