Appalachian Gap Distillery's Kaffevän Coffee Liqueur awarded Best in Category

Appalachian Gap Distillery today announced the results of latest spirits competition entry: A Best in Category and a Silver medal for Kaffevän Coffee Liqueur, and a Bronze medal for Snowfall Vermont Whiskey.
The 9th Annual Judging of Craft American Spirits, was held on February 23-25 in Louisville, KY, and the winners announced on March 31. The American Distilling Institute, the nation's largest and oldest organization representing craft distillers judged craft American gins, rums, fruit infusions, brandies, moonshines, whiskeys and all other classes of distilled spirits invited distilleries from across the nation to submit their finest spirits for evaluation by a distinguished panel of judges over the course of the weekend.
Kaffevän Coffee Liqueur was named Best in Category, and was awarded a Silver medal in the Coffee Liqueur Category, impressing the judges with its intense coffee flavor with hints of chocolate and caramel. Snowfall Vermont Whiskey (108 proof) was awarded a Bronze medal in the Alt Moonshine category, delighting the judges with its layers of flavor and clean finish.
