Organic energy and hydration will be available at stores in May

Golazo, Inc., the Seattle-based company that makes Golazo Natural Sports Fuel™, announced today that its Non-GMO verified drinks are set to get even better with an improved formulation that is Certified USDA Organic. The new organic drinks will begin hitting store shelves in May 2015 at retailers on the West coast and on Amazon.com.

“We are delighted to put the “O” in Golazo with the USDA Organic Certification and proud to continue to give athletes a chance to optimize their performance with sports drinks that have unsurpassed ingredient quality and phenomenal flavor,” said company co-founder Richard Tait.

Golazo Natural Sports Fuel™ is formulated for increased sports performance, including mental acuity, sustained endurance, sprinting speed, and fast recovery, and available in two varieties. Golazo Energy delivers organic fuel from green coffee beans and yerba mate, hydrating electrolytes, and half the sugar of most energy drinks. Golazo Hydration provides electrolytes from 10% organic coconut water for replenishment, half the sodium of most sports drinks, and a thirst-quenching formula.

“Our Natural Sports Fuel was created to provide athletes healthier alternatives with no artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors, or preservatives. We are changing the rules and are delighted that our drinks have secured USDA Organic Certification and remain Non-GMO Verified and Gluten-Free Certified,” said Tait. “Our name means amazing goal in Spanish, and I think that’s what we’ve achieved. It’s a Golaaaazooo!”
