President and CEO of The Institutes, Peter Miller, to deliver keynote address at the 2015 IDMA Annual Meeting, focusing on how data and IT professionals can leverage cutting-edge technology to help set and execute strategic business goals.

Peter L. Miller, CPCU, president and chief executive officer of The Institutes, will deliver the keynote address at the 2015 Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA) Annual Meeting, to be held April 27 and 28 in Philadelphia.

“I began working as a systems manager and have carried my background and experiences in information technology (IT) with me throughout my career,” said Miller. “I’m excited to have an opportunity to discuss with the IDMA audience how an IT professional can leverage their IT skills to move into more senior management roles at their organizations.”

Highlighting the importance of data management to a company’s ultimate success, the Annual Meeting theme for 2015 is “Evolving Data Management—–The Difference Maker for Your Bottom Line.” The event is well-attended by professionals in both the business and technology communities, including actuaries, underwriters, data architects, systems developers, compliance directors and data managers.

Miller’s session, “From the Computer Room to the Board Room,” is scheduled for April 27 and will focus on how data and IT professionals can leverage cutting-edge technology to help set and execute strategic business goals.
