Marina del Rey, CA (PRWEB) April 23, 2015
The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey’s waterfront restaurant, Cast & Plow, will be launching its second Mother’s Day brunch where diners can pick and choose from a variety of large and small plates on the special menu.
Cast & Plow’s Executive Chef, Umit Kaygusuz, has carefully incorporated farm-fresh ingredients in each of his featured specialties such as: the Smoked Salmon with pee wee potatoes, mizuna, hardboiled egg and grain mustard vinaigrette, the Beef Pot Roast with caramelized root vegetables, roast potatoes, spinach and mustard jus and the California Omelet with heirloom tomatoes, Hass avocados, basil and mozzarella.
The restaurant’s talented Pastry Chef, Vanessa Johnson, will create a variety of cookies, mousses, custards and pastries that will be included in the brunch as well as a made-to-order Belgium waffle station stocked with an array of childhood favorite toppings.
After brunch, children can participate in a bear building activity where they can create a keepsake stuffed animal with a special Ritz-Carlton logoed shirt and message that reads “I Love Mom.” Bears are included for children who are attending the brunch. Additional bears or bears for non-diners can be purchased for $25.
