Innovative skincare brand signs agreement with the contract sales division of Alliance Healthcare, Skills in Healthcare.

As part of its key objective to raise awareness of its My Trusty® skincare brand, Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has entered into a distribution agreement with Alliance Healthcare’s contract sales division, Skills in Healthcare.

Skills in Healthcare covers 2,000 independent pharmacies across the UK and the affiliation is the first of its kind for the Trust.

‘We are very optimistic about the opportunities this affiliation gives us,’ commented Rob Webb, Associate Director of Procurement and Commercial Services. ‘Our objective is for My Trusty® to become a household name. Our agreement with Skills in Healthcare will help to achieve that and increase our high street points of sale through retailers and pharmacy dispensaries’.

The Skills in Healthcare team will act as the main distributor for My Trusty® skincare products to dispensing pharmacies throughout the UK.

‘Skills in Healthcare are proud to support and promote the first NHS branded product. With profits going back into patient care and our customers reporting back some great results, it is a product we can really get behind,’ commented Mark Rothery, Contract Sales Manager of Skills in Healthcare.

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust hopes that this is only the first agreement of its kind. ‘We’re very interested in talking to anyone who shares our values and would therefore be interested in partnering with us,’ concluded Webb.

At the time of going to press, My Trusty® skincare is stocked in 163 outlets across the UK.

This latest development follows a confirmed shortlisting for its award winning body butter in the Prima Baby Mum’s Hero Beauty Product category.

Launched in 2013, My Trusty® skincare is specially formulated for use on dry, itchy and sensitive skin. All products are rich in essential fatty acids to revive dehydrated skin. My Trusty® skincare is suitable for use on skin prone to eczema as well as babies over the age of 8 weeks and mums-to-be. It is free from colours, parabens and lanolin.
