Keeper Security Collaborates with RSA to Offer Financial Institutions Leading Authentication Product

Keeper Security, Inc., a leader provider of password management, today announced that it has achieved certification through the RSA Ready Technology Partner Program for its interoperability with RSA SecurID® offering, a market leading two-factor authentication product from RSA. This certification is designed to bring seamless, out of the box RSA SecurID interoperability for Keeper’s Password Manager and Digital Vault customers, enabling security conscious enterprises to deploy an added layer of authentication.

“This collaboration helps enhance the ability for banking and financial institutions to prevent hacking of their customers’ passwords, records, files and identity,” said Darren Guccione, CEO and co-founder of Keeper Security, Inc. “They can now provide an elegant solution to customers that will marry security with convenience.”

Keeper Security, Inc. is the creator of Keeper, the market leading, easy-to-use, password manager and digital vault that uses military-grade encryption technology to store website logins, passwords, financial information, documents, photos and videos. Keeper works seamlessly across all devices – all that is needed is a master password (or a fingerprint) to access one’s vault.

Keeper was selected by AT&T as the only password management application to be pre-loaded on all Android and Windows Phone devices in the United States.

When RSA SecurID authentication is enabled on a Keeper account, users are prompted for their Keeper login (their email address and master password) and then asked to enter the RSA SecurID token code which changes every 60 seconds to help thwart a hacker from gaining access.

“RSA welcomes Keeper Security into the RSA Ready Partner Program,” said Chad Loeven, Director of Partnerships for RSA. “Extending RSA SecurID authentication to the Keeper platform helps strengthen customers’ security around password and digital vault management.”
