TODAY Show's Natalie Morales to be Honored by Helpusadopt.org's Fifth Annual NYC Benefit & Auction Celebrating the Faces of Adoption
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 24, 2015 -- The Helpusadopt.org Fifth Annual NYC Benefit & Auction will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at Espace in Midtown Manhattan (6:30pm - 9:30pm). This year, Helpusadopt.org is proud to honor Natalie Morales of The TODAY Show with their Corporate Community Award. Natalie believed in the mission of Helpusadopt.org when the organization was in its infancy. Helpusadopt.org's TODAY Show segment and Natalie's conviction to their cause, gave them a strong platform to build their organization and spread the word. The exposure it provided offered hope to so many across the country. Helpusadopt.org looks forward to honoring such a worthy individual.
"Of the many stories I have done over the years at the TODAY Show, one that especially stands out for me is the profile I did on Helpusadopt.org. As the founder, Becky Fawcett says, “Everyone who wants to be a parent deserves to be a parent.” But the reality of adoption can be a scary and difficult process, not to mention, cost prohibitive for most. Helpusadopt helps ease that burden and has given hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to deserving people to help make their dreams of starting a family, a reality," stated TODAY Show Host Natalie Morales.
The inspirational evening will also include remarks from Founder Becky Fawcett as well as a Helpusadopt.org grant recipient. The couple will provide a firsthand account of the impact the life-changing grant they received from Helpusadopt.org made on their family. Their infant son will also be in attendance. Eight years ago when Helpusadopt.org was just an idea, Becky and Kipp Fawcett dreamed of creating a non-profit organization that would help couples and individuals build their families through adoption. Their goal was to create an organization that was free from discrimination and allowed people to build their family on their own terms.
"Adoption is rarely an easy process for any family. It can be time consuming, expensive, and frustrating at times. However, nothing is better than the feeling inside when you finally bring your forever child home. For us, the journey proved extraordinary difficult, and it was a journey we would not have been able to complete without the aid of Helpusadopt.org," stated the 2015 grant recipient.
The proceeds of the evening go directly to the Helpusadopt.org adoption grant program. On behalf of all the children around the globe who are in need of loving and permanent homes, Helpusadopt.org is extremely thankful for the support and generosity of those involved in this event. Over three-hundred patrons and over twenty corporate and individual sponsors will be in attendance.
