Accordance Introduces the ARAID 5000 that Advances Data Protection for SATA Drives
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) April 28, 2015 -- Accordance Systems (http://www.accordancesystems.com) today announced the ARAID 5000 advanced RAID subsystem for high performance SATA III 3.5” SATA hard drive data protection at Interop 2015. The ARAID 5000 creates and maintains a RAID 1 disk array allowing a PC continued operation during a hard drive crash. All files are mirrored on two drives that automatically keep identical copies of drive images assuring system data protection. The ARAID 5000 storage subsystem connects to new or legacy computers via a SATA or EIDE drive port.
The ARAID 5000 is a RAID storage system fitting into a 5-1/4” low profile (2U), drive bay providing data protection on two drives where typically just one drive is supported. No additional software or hardware is needed to run the ARAID 5000.
“We are pleased to add the ARAID 5000 join the Accordance family of proven PC data protection products,” says Steve Johnson, president of Accordance USA. “The ARAID is easiest way to keep your data and PC system alive during a hard drive crash."
Each ARAID contains two removable hard drive trays allowing drives to be added or removed while the system is running. The ARAID removable drive trays can be taken from the system for offsite storage. Restoring systems is instantaneous with an archive drive eliminating costly system rebuilds.
Accordance is exhibiting the ARAID 5000 and its family of data protection products at Interop 2015 in booth #2266. The ARAID 5000 is available now with a list price of $435/each. For more information, go to the Accordance website or call at 515-223-4845.
