Representatives with iti Direct Mail (https://www.letterprinting.net), announced today that it can now produce booklets in custom sizes, which allows them to create informational booklets to be included in letter mailings.

“Now we can print booklets in various custom sizes and various quantity of pages which can be inserted in different size mailers and be mailed at a regular Standard bulk rate of 28 cents each,” said Alan Barseghian, marketing director of iti Direct Mail, whose specialty product is printing mail-merged letters with personalized appearing envelopes that do not look like junk mail. “Booklets included in mailers are an inexpensive and an effective form of marketing that we recommend to our clients.”

Barseghian explained that iti Direct Mail decided to add this service due to the fact that most industries are very competitive today and to be successful its customers need to stand out and be different and offer something of value to keep their loyal customers.

“Now we can create multi-page booklets that can easily fit in commercial size envelopes, which are one of the most cost effective size envelopes,” Barseghian stressed, before adding, “You can also easily utilize our handwritten fonts to increase your open rate even higher. Many marketers promote "lumpy" mail for a very high open rate, but booklets are much better than your average promotional products such as pens or key chains because they can offer much more. The main success rate of promotional items such as pens is that people hold on to them, because they are useful.”

The company spokesman went on to note that a well designed booklet can offer so much more than a pen or similar promotional item.

“Booklets can offer valuable information about a product or a service or educate the reader about something important, generally the products or the services that an organization offers,” Barseghian pointed out. “One of the main reasons we have started offering custom size booklets is to keep the shapes and weights in accordance to USPS standards to not incur additional postage costs. Our custom size booklets can be mailed at the regular standard rate of 28 cents each. One of our main goals in the marketing plans for our clients is to keep their cost per piece as low as possible to allow them to maximize the quantity mailed.”

Barseghian added that its booklet mailer packages still can include a mail merged personalized cover letter to give a brief description of the purpose of the mailer and a "sales pitch".

“Some products and service are more involved and can be explained more clearly by using graphics and images such as comparative charts or performance graphs,” Barseghian said. “Mailers with large amounts of text can be considered boring and may cause some readers to simply shy away from reading it.”
