MetaMoji’s staff writer published an article on the impact of mobile technology in the classroom propelling a more personalized approach to teaching.

A staff writer from MetaMoji Corporation, global developer of business productivity and classroom apps, has just published a thought leadership piece in the university journal In the article, MetaMoji’s staff writer Pamela Millar describes how mobile technology in general, and tablet computers in particular, are resulting in a movement toward “personalized blended learning” where teachers provide a more customized, and interactive teaching approach to reach certain students. As this movement proceeds, many teachers are adapting lessons plans from linear thinking to a more fluid organic discovery incorporating exploration across the internet. The article states, “The role of the teacher in this freeform discovery is to give guidance and coherence to the student as they discover. Teachers who tap into this quest for “edutainment” are finding ways to reach students in the back of the classroom who tend to zone out of lessons based on traditional linear thinking. Many schools are adapting to these new approaches to student engagement.”
