eReflect is an ardent proponent of all educational and sociocultural initiatives that promote spelling and literacy. For this reason, the company is particularly pleased to discover that Network TEN in Australia has been commissioned to produce and present the Great Australian Spelling Bee TV show to the Australian public.

The kid-focused TV show welcomes applications from young children ages 8 to 13 who want to participate. The only prerequisite is that the Australian children must have a love for language and grammar, and of course, spelling. The TV show is expected to go live later in 2015 and the registration window for participants ends April 17th, 2015.

Children interested in applying must take the qualifying test with an adult supervising the process, and must complete all three online tests without any assistance by anyone. The registration and casting process is handled by Shine Australia's Casting Team. The young wordsmiths and spelling fanatics will have to complete three tests on grammar and spelling and one on comprehension to qualify for the TV show. The host of the TV show is yet to be announced. eReflect wishes every aspiring speller and contestant the best of luck. As eReflect’s spokesperson commented,

“The Great Australian Spelling Bee is a great opportunity for children to show their spelling acumen and to be able to say to a worldwide audience, 'I spell well!' On behalf of eReflect, designer of Ultimate Spelling™, we are wishing every child applying for the show good luck.”

eReflect has been helping children and adults improve their spelling skills with Sammy the Bee and its spelling tutor software Ultimate Spelling™. The company encourages interested children to apply now and register for the TV show for a chance to show the world their love for language and spelling. According to Network TEN Chief Programming Officer, Beverley McGarvey,

“The Great Australian Spelling Bee is an exciting, engaging new series and a perfect fit with our strategy of bringing event television to Australians. Surrounded by their friends and loved ones, we will see Australia’s brightest young people put through their paces as they inspire and surprise us. And we will cheer them on.”
